Does iMusician Take Commissions On My Revenue?
Depending on which shops your revenue comes from and whether you’re using our Starter plan, we may apply certain commissions to your revenue. Here’s what you need to know:
Starter Plan Commission
If you’re using our Starter plan, a 10% commission will be deducted from your sales revenue. If you are subscribed to one of our AMPLIFY plans, no commission will be deducted from your sales revenue.
Social Media Platform Monetization
Revenue earned through monetization on social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and others) is not considered part of regular music distribution. A commission of 20% will be deducted from this revenue, regardless of your current plan.
YouTube Content ID Monetization
Revenue generated through YouTube’s Content ID system is also not considered part of regular music distribution. A commission of 20% will be deducted from this revenue, regardless of your current plan.
